Sharp Style with Blade II, Wearable Art / Sex Toy

A while back, I wrote about sex toys that can be worn as jewellery being an untapped market, and pointed to items like a bullet vibe on a string being about as exciting as it got. Then, I came across some products that lead this double-function life more elegantly than I ever thought possible.

The line is called Incognito, available at Babeland. It’s the creation of an industrial designer named Ti, who describes his pieces as “intimate accessories inspired by the idea of being discreet, yet unapologetically sensual.”

The collection includes handcuffs that can be worn together as a stacked bracelet (with a beautiful rose gold chain joining them) , a droplet-style necklace with vibrating nipple clamps concealed inside,  and lambskin tassels. Despite all these temptations it was the glimmering Blade II that first caught my eye.

Blade is available in either sterling silver or rose gold. When retracted, the pendant is 3” inches long by 1” wide. When you extend the hand-cut glass blade portion, the entire “knife” is now 5” long.  It’s not sharp enough to cut skin, just pointed enough to draw some very directed sensations across your lover’s skin.

It’s also possible to use Blade for temperature play, by either heating or cooling the glass blade. This would take some extra effort, though, to prepare the toy for use. One of the nicest things about Blade is that it’s right there at the ready for spontaneous play.

The pendant hangs on an 18” chain, which I found to be a bit long on me, but it may be perfect for someone who’s more fully endowed as the blade would likely hang right over the cleavage.

Befitting the top-quality materials the Incognito line is made with, the packaging is also beautiful and well constructed. It’s such a joy to unwrap a jewellery item that you can tell is going to be luxurious even before you see it. Blade comes packaged in an outer and inner solid black box with the necklace itself nestled in a thick, soft suede bag with three pockets – perfect for storing it as well as a couple of other items if desired.

The only downside to Bladeis that it really does look like you’re wearing a knife, and therefore there are some places you probably won’t want to try wearing it, such as when travelling through airports or out to some bars.

I wore Blade out to a party at a hotel that’s known for its open-minded attitude to all things sexy. The necklace received one compliment, and several curious glances. I’m really hoping the next time I wear it out one of the people staring is bold enough to ask about Blade; I’d love to tell them all about its secret sexy capabilities!
